BRIEF: Shooting sends 2 to the hospital in Hopewell

Hopewell police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent two men to the hospital.
Police said officers responded around 2:28 this morning to the 600 block of Davisville Place, just off Terminal Street, for a report of shots fired and a disturbance. Police said a window in one of the nearby apartments had been shot out. Shortly thereafter, two men arrived a John Randolph Medical Center, less than a mile from the scene, with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, police said.
Both men were then taken to VCU Medical Center in Richmond for further treatment, police said.
