Hamish the Hammer beats a new path

Ten Network has appointed former advertising executive Hamish McLennan as its new CEO. McLennan began his career with George Patterson Bates and was global chair and CEO of Young & Rubicam when it was named best US agency in 2010. His association with WPP's Plush production company drew hostility from many in the sector.
