SBS's ethnic viewers 'missing'
Feb 24, 2013 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) --
Australian TV network SBS wants changes to surveys to properly measure its viewers. It is working with TV ratings agencies to include more homes in which English is a second language. SBS CEO Michael Ebeid said that the surveys do not represent the actual demography of Australia. Ebeid said that this also applies to SBS's new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander network NITV. He said that the surveys do not include the regional areas where many Aboriginal viewers live.
