Openwave Mobility and Optimus of Portugal Evaluate Solution for Innovative Content Promotion to Targeted Subscribers

their intention to evaluate in live conditions a content promotion
solution enabled by a clientless browser toolbar, the PPI Toolbar. PPI
Toolbar is part of Openwave (News - Alert) Mobility's Promotion
and Pricing Innovation (PPI) solution. PPI leverages advanced policy
control and charging (PCC), and policy engagement with end users to
enable carriers to develop innovative mobile data product offerings and
promotions to targeted subscriber segments. PPI Toolbar takes the user
experience to the next level by delivering relevant operator price
plans, customer care links and third party promotions and advertising.
As mobile subscribers are looking for content that is pertinent to their
