Book a place at museum sessions [Herald, The (Plymouth, England)]
(Herald, The (Plymouth, England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) PLYMOUTH Museum and Art Gallery has planned some exciting new workshops for the spring and summer.
Helen Round will be running a Book Making Workshop from her studio on Tuesday April 9 from 10.30 to 4pm, where participants will be using traditional book binding techniques to create a special book with multiple sewn signatures and a hard back fabric cover.
Other workshops at Helen's studio include trying your hand at screenprinting, Shibori with Indigo/dyeing, creating your own collage with print and stitch, simple books and cards and a felted tea cosy.
All workshops at the studio include a homemade soup and bread lunch as well as cake, which is included in the booking cost.
An exciting selection of Saturday sessions are also available in the Contemporary Craft Workshop programme for Plymouth Museum and Art Gallery, taking place in the Learning Room from 10.30-3.30.
