BJU Press Partners with Salem Communications
Greenville, SC, Feb 27, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
Starting February 2013, BJU Press began advertising its educational philosophy and promoting its Christian school and homeschool curriculum for Grades K4-12 through radio spots on 94.5 FM, promotion on The Mike Gallagher Show, and clickable web banners.
Salem Radio Network owns and operates 99 radio stations and is one of the fastest growing full-service radio networks in the United States. Focusing on talk, music, and news, Salem Radio Network serves over 2,000 radio stations. It is a syndicate of leading conservative talk show hosts, such as Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved, and Dennis Prager.
BJU Press will be advertising exclusively with Mike Gallagher, who has an estimated 3.75 million listeners weekly. Enjoying national syndication for a running fourteen years, Gallagher is the sixth most-listened-to talk show host in America.
BJU Press will be running thirty- and sixty-second radio spots on The Mike Gallagher Show, which airs every day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time. Gallagher will also be showing his support of BJU Press and its core distinctives--academic excellence, biblical-worldview shaping, critical-thinking skills, and technology solutions--by promoting the company and its materials on his radio program. Currently, BJU Press has several clickable web banners on Mike Gallagher's webpage, taking customers to a landing page with clickable icons to its Christian vs. Secular website, its Total Homeschool Solutions site, and its Complete Christian School Resources site.
Bill Apelian, Director of BJU Press, says about the partnership, "Partnering with Salem Communications is a good opportunity. I think this will be a great way for BJU Press to build more of a presence in the national community and get our message out to America--the message that we have everything a homeschool or Christian school needs to guide students to think for themselves and make right choices in life."
BJU Press exists to encourage Christian character in students and promote academic excellence through the provision of K4-Grade 12 educational materials and support services. In addition to textbooks and materials, we offer homeschool testing services, distance-learning programs, and other homeschooling resources.
