BRIEF: New director of Wisconsin Angel Network chosen

Dan Blake, an Epic Systems Corp. project manager and former Chicago Tribune reporter, has been chosen to serve as director of the Wisconsin Angel Network.
Blake, a Madison native, will start in mid-March, succeeding Zach Brandon, now president of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce.
Blake has degrees from the University of Iowa and the University of Denver's Daniels School of Business. He is also a member of Built in Chicago, an online community of digital entrepreneurs.
As director of the Wisconsin Angel Network -- part of the nonprofit Wisconsin Technology Council -- Blake will work with more than two dozen investor groups as well as entrepreneurs from across the state.
