Word up to Roosevelt's Semise Kofe who won the state wrestling championship in the 5A 285-lbs bracket. Look for a story about his victory soon.
Yesterday, the Feral Cat Coalition honored World Spay Day with a special spay and neuter event.

Richard Read reports three companies that make giant structures upriver from the proposed Columbia River Crossing could lose anywhere from $30 million to $116 million in profits because of the span's reduced clearance. The Jefferson Dancers are trying to raise money to perform in China. They have a video on Indie Go Go about the troupe and the performance. You can donate money there if you want.
The Q Center has launched a kickstarter to raise $5,000 for its role in the Queer Music Benefit for LGBTQ Mental Health Services. Logan Lynn, the nonprofit's communications guy, is one of the performers.
