NecesSea Enables Users to Remotely Sync

In its ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency of logistics software, NecesSea, LLC, has successfully launched an application feature that makes remote management of disconnected logistic software possible. In development for more than two years, this application revolutionizes software applications within the oil and gas industry.

"Most of NecesSea's clients have the challenge of communicating between corporate offices onshore and vessels and rigs offshore. Adding to this challenge is keeping software updated and synced so that the information can be effectively relayed in a timely manner," explained Jennifer Comeaux, Chief Executive Officer of NecesSea. "Previously, all updates and syncs were done manually. This required sending technicians out to the rigs or having them meet vessels as they came into port which is costly and at tmes grossly inefficient," she said.

"What we have created is an application that is seamless. Corporate offices can see in real time the same information the rigs or vessels see if there is high-speed connectivity. However, the application can also run without high-speed connectivity and when an internet data transfer occurs, all information is synced and updated," Comeaux added.

Comeaux explained that once the software is installed, all updates, enhancements, and repairs are quickly deployed without sending a technician out into the field. "Our clients immediately benefit from enhanced capabilities while reducing their expenses associated with data transmission, communication costs, and technician expenses related to software updates and maintenance. It is a win-win for everyone," Comeaux noted.

"I am extremely proud of our team on the development of this breakthrough software application. They listened to the concerns of the oil and gas industry and began tackling an age-old issue. At the end of the day, they have created an application that makes managing software at remote sites a non-issue," Comeaux added.
