Iowa Heart Center CyberCardiology Program Presented During ACC 2013

For many residents in rural areas of Iowa, it's difficult to travel to the city to see a cardiologist. Consequently, they may put off important medical care, only to have their situation worsen and result in a trip to the local hospital's emergency department.

Cardiologists at the Iowa Heart Center, led by Dr. Richard Marcus, director of Iowa Heart's Cardiac Ultrasound Laboratory, established an extended network of mobile and stationary echocardiography clinics to address this challenge and deliver advanced cardiac care to rural areas throughout the state.

Dr. Marcus will be presenting more details about the Iowa Heart Center CyberCardiology program March 9th and 10th in the Esaote exhibit (S-5123) during the 2013 American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions at Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA (News - Alert).

Dr. Marcus will illuminate details of how this important echocardiography program is implemented during his presentations in the Esaote exhibit on:

• Sunday, March 9, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Monday, March 10, at 12:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
