BRIEF: Danville man beaten and robbed

DANVILLE, Va. -- A man was assaulted and robbed by four men late Thursday night.
The victim was walking in the 400 block of Seminole drive when four men got out of a white SUV and assaulted him, according to Danville police.
One of the men beat him with a black handgun. They then stole property from him and then left.
The victim went to Danville Regional Medical Center for swelling and a cut on his head.
