BRIEF: Shots fired at Ripon home, police say
RIPON, Mar 02, 2013 (The Modesto Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A man was taken into custody after gunshots were fired into a home in Ripon on Friday night, authorities said.
Police were called to the 300 block of East Frontage Road at about 8:45 p.m. after reports of shots fired in the area, according to Sgt. Steve Merchant of the Ripon Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found damage to the home that appeared to be from gunfire. Nobody inside the home was injured.
About 40 minutes later, a suspect was identified and taken into custody, Merchant said.
Merchant did not release any suspect information, including age or details on his specific involvement in the case.
