BRIEF: Greensboro man in wheelchair robbed
GREENSBORO, Mar 02, 2013 (News & Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Police are continuing to investigate a Thursday night robbery where two teenagers knocked a man out of his wheelchair and stole money.
The man was headed home when he was approached by the two boys on Bywood Street near Patio Place. One of them hit the victim in the head with a bag that had a hard object in it, knocking him to the ground, police said The two then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot in an unknown direction,
The robbers were described as black males, 15 to 16 years old, about 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
