Register for Mutton Bustin' by Thursday

Bucking bulls will make their return to Memorial Auditorium Thursday night during 2013 SnowBull indoor rodeo, and those who want to get their little ones registered for mutton bustin' on Saturday need to get registered by Thursday afternoon.
The sheep riding portion of the three-day rodeo event will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, and doors open at noon for the free family event. Children must be between 4 and 8 years old and weigh 70 pounds or less. To register, call (319) 931-3259 or (309) 337-5671. Those who miss the registration date still will have a chance to get their child in the event if they arrive early Saturday. There will only be room for about 80 to 85 children, though.
Advance tickets for the rodeo also will be on sale through Thursday and are $7 in advance or $10 at the door for the Thursday and Friday show. All tickets for Saturday night's show are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Menn's Firestone, Burlington Steamboat Days, Clear Falls Bottle Water, Casebine Credit Union, Reif Oil Fastbreaks, the 34 Truckstop, Z's Quick Break in Mount Pleasant, Casey's General Store in New London, Ogo's Restaurant in Keokuk, Huffmans in Burlington and Fort Madison, the Fort Madison Shell and Westland in Mediapolis.
Bull riding starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and doors open at 6 p.m.
