Video banking on the move

Commonwealth Bank of Australia drew attention to its video banking program at its half-yearly profit meeting in February 2013. KPMG financial services partner Daniel Knoll said consumers were accustomed to dealing with services such as YouTube and Facetime and were ready to accept video banking. He said a survey he co-authored showed that such platforms would have a significant impact on branch networks.
