Vodafone 'to have fastest 4G net'

Vodafone Australia will soon join Telstra and Singtel Optus in offering fourth-generation mobile telephone services. Vodafone CEO Bill Morrow believes that the telco's greater share of the 1800Mhz spectrum will give it an advantage over its rivals until 2015, when additional spectrum is made available by the Federal Government. Vodafone will invest over $A1bn on its mobile network infrastructure in 2013.
