Paul W. Stoddard, at 64, resident of South Boston

Paul William Stoddard of South Boston, a retired teacher and software engineer, died Feb. 6. He was 64.
Mr. Stoddard graduated from Boston State Teachers College. He later attended the University of Massachusetts Boston and graduated with a bachelor of science in computer science.
He taught at Boston Public Schools for 20 years. For the past 20 years, he was employed as a software and release engineer at AOL, INTUIT, Interleaf and VMWARE.
Mr. Stoddard is survived by a brother, Peter of South Boston; and a sister, Barbara of South Boston.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
