Frontier reports lower Q4 net income, provides annual outlook

Frontier Communications Corporation., a communications company, has reported that net income attributable to the common shareholders for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012 was $24.88 million, or $0.02 per share, compared to $42.25 million, or $0.04 per share for the same quarter ended December 31, 2011. For 2013, the company's expectations for capital expenditures will range from $625 million to $675 million.
Revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012 was $1.23 billion, compared to $1.28 billion for the same quarter ended December 31, 2011.
Net income attributable to the common shareholders for the year ended December 31, 2012 was $136.64 million, or $0.14 per share, compared to $149.61 million, or $0.15 per share, for the same period ended December 31, 2011.
Revenue for the year ended December 31, 2012 was $5.01 billion, compared to $5.24 billion for the same period ended December 31, 2011.
