BRIEF: Asian worker's mystery death being probed...

Police were last night investigating an incident in which two Bahraini men allegedly beat a Bangladeshi shop worker to death.
The worker, identified as 49-year- old Mintu Deb, was alone at the electronics shop in Suq Waqif in Hamad Town, when two men approached him, said witnesses.
They said the men were seen arguing with Mr Deb and then assaulting him.
The witnesses said the men then left the shop. However, Mr Deb followed them but fell as he stepped out of the shop.
Passers-by and witnesses called the police and paramedics who took the grievously injured Mr Deb to the BDF Hospital.
Sources said he died before he could reach the hospital. Other sources said Mr Deb, who had been in Bahrain for several years, had two children in the country.
The Interior Ministry later said on Twitter that an Asian worker died as a result of a fight with a Bahraini. It said the Bahraini handed himself over to the police and investigations had been launched.
