Fonality unveils next generation of IP-PBX software solution

Fonality, a provider of business phone systems and contact center solutions, has announced the delivery of the next generation of its IP-PBX software solution, trixbox Pro.
The new Fonality trixbox Pro Appliance by RockBochs is reportedly the first server to be certified by Fonality engineers on the new, upgraded CentOS 6.3 ISO and further expands the hardware options available to Fonality's channel partners.
According to the company, the 2U rack-mount server comes in two versions: a 4 GB unit with an Intel 2.6 Ghz dual-core processor, and a 6 GB version with an Intel Xenon 3.0 Ghz quad-core processor. Both come with a one-year warranty and are custom built to support small and midsize business needs and growth.
"The new trixbox Pro Appliance by RockBochs gives our partners the very latest certified hardware to source," said David Scult, CEO of Fonality. "Like the trixbox Pro solution itself, this appliance is unique in nature and optimized specifically for the trixbox Pro software. It's fun, quirky, and provides a cult-following experience that will be easily recognized sitting in a rack."
Fonality's trixbox Pro is an IP-PBX software solution purpose built to support growing small and midsize businesses. Exclusive to Fonality's channel business, trixbox Pro features a hybrid hosted telephony solution.
While there will be only one trixbox Pro appliance, other hardware solutions are certified by Fonality with the new upgraded ISO, specifically Dell's XE, PowerEdge R320 and PowerEdge R620 offerings. Partners attempting to install the new trixbox Pro on an uncertified server can seek to have that server certified using Fonality's Partner, the company added.
