Day of mourning observed in Mirpurkhas
(Daily Regional Times (Pakistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A day of mourning was observed in Mirpurkhas to condemn bomb blasts in Abbas Town Karachi, which claimed at least 50 lives. The educational institutes remained closed, whereas business centers of Market Chowk, Station Road, Satellite Town, Chandni Chowk, Electronics Market and others also were closed. A protest rally was taken out under the leadership of Allama Muhammad Abbas Qumi and Allama Aijaz Sanjrani which after marching through different routes culminated at the Press Club Mirpurkhas. Speaking at the occasion, the leaders said that the government had failed to protect the citizens, and was so negligent that none of the responsible officials had announced any action. They condemned the performance of government and the security agencies.
