Advanced Network Systems, an Albemarle County-based information technology services company, has been recognized by California-based Cisco Systems as a top performing channel partner.
"We are very pleased to receive this recognition from Cisco, as it underscores Advanced Network Systems' technical and engineering expertise, the commitment we have to meeting the technology and business needs of our customers, and the relationship we've built with Cisco," said Kevin Leibl, president of Advanced Network Systems. "Our relationship with Cisco grows stronger every day and we look forward to continued success in the months and years to come."
Advanced Network Systems was specifically honored for the company's year-over-year sales growth success by Cisco representatives on Tuesday. The company was the only one in the Mid-Atlantic region to receive the honor, according to Ed Parkinson, Cisco's territory account manager.
"We look to small, growing businesses, like Advanced Network Systems, as an important part of the economic growth and vitality of our region," said Timothy Hulbert, president of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce. "We are pleased to join in celebrating their recognition by Cisco for both their success in sales growth, as well as their entrepreneurial leadership in Central Virginia and throughout the state."
Founded in 1996, Advanced Network Systems has regional offices in Richmond, Roanoke and Bluefield.
