BRIEF: Woman shot in Greensboro during robbery attempt
GREENSBORO, Mar 06, 2013 (News & Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A 24-year-old woman was shot during a struggle with a man who tried to rob her at a hotel Tuesday, police said.
The woman told investigators she was at the Comfort Inn at 1103 Lanada Road with a man when he tried to rob her.
She was shot once during a struggle and was driven to Wesley Long Hospital at 11:45 p.m., where she was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Police described the man as black with a dark complexion, 24 to 26 years old and having dreadlocks.
He is 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall with a skinny build.
Police ask anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
