Arbella Introduces Carpartment Insurance

The Arbella Insurance Group today announced the launch of Carpartment insurance. Designed to help make renter's insurance policies simpler and more affordable, Carpartment offers significant discounts to tenants who insure their cars with Arbella.

"We're very excited about making Carpartment available to our policyholders," said Jim Hyatt, Arbella's vice president of Personal Lines. "Renter's insurance is carried by only 31 percent of tenants nationwide, and many of the uninsured have no idea that their possessions aren't covered. Tenants, especially first-time renters, need to realize tat going without renter's insurance is a big risk, as rental units are burglarized 50% more often than owner-occupied properties. By offering renter's insurance that's both inexpensive and easy to purchase, we're helping our policyholders minimize that risk."

With Carpartment, Arbella is offering policyholders the opportunity to add renter's insurance to their car insurance for as little as $3 a week, ensuring that their property is covered in case of loss or damage by fire, burst pipes, burglary, and more. As a further incentive, Arbella is offering a 10% auto insurance discount for existing policyholders who also purchase renter's insurance through the Carpartment program.

Carpartment insurance is now available to Arbella private passenger vehicle customers in Massachusetts.
