PBS Real Estate's John Brod Garners 2012 Costar Power Broker Award [Professional Services Close - Up]
(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) PBS Real Estate announced that John Brod, Principal and Co- Founder, has been named a 2012 CoStar Power Broker by CoStar Group, Inc., commercial real estate's internet provider of information, analytics and marketing services.
According to a release, this annual award recognizes professionals in commercial real estate brokerage by highlighting the achievements of the U.S. firms and individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volumes in commercial property sales or leases in 2012 in their respective markets.
With a professional research organization serving the commercial real estate industry, CoStar is positioned to identify the top firms and brokers in each market throughout the U.S. All awards are based on transaction data maintained in CoStar's commercial real estate database, which is an independently researched database of commercial real estate property information available online.
Brod qualified as one of the top commercial brokers in New York City based on the leasing transactions he closed during the year. In order to be selected for this honor, Brod was evaluated against other commercial real estate brokers active in the region by CoStar Group, and subsequently ranked among the top brokers in the market.
Significant New York retail transactions closed by Brod and PBS Real Estate in 2012 included the DKNY flagship on Madison Avenue, the two (2) Joe Fresh flagships on Fifth Avenue, and the sale of the retail condo at 105 Wooster Street which has Room and Board as a tenant.
