American Software's board elects James C Edenfield and J Michael Edenfield to senior executive roles

American Software Inc (NASDAQ:AMSWA), a provider of business software solutions, disclosed on Thursday that its board of directors has elected James C Edenfield as executive chairman and J Michael Edenfield as president and CEO as of 1 May 2013.
A founder of the company, James Edenfield serves as its president and CEO at present, while Michael Edenfield is EVP and COO as well as president and CEO of the company's wholly owned subsidiary and largest operating unit, Logility Inc, in which positions he will continue.
