BRIEF: Williams & Williams parent forms real estate company
Mar 08, 2013 (Tulsa World - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Williams, Williams & McKissick, parent of Tulsa-based auction company Williams & Williams as well as the Auction Network, has announced the creation of a sister entity that will specialize in traditional real estate sales.
The new company, Williams Real Estate Worldwide Brokerage, will soon provide buying and selling services for commercial and residential properties in Oklahoma, with the goal of expanding into a nationwide network, said Amy Bates, a spokeswoman for Williams, Williams & McKissick.
Pam McKissick, co-owner and CEO of Williams, Williams & McKissick, said the new company is a natural extension of the brand.
"While we continue to thrive in real estate auction, our brokerage firm will provide an end-to-end solution for our clients," she said Thursday.
Rod Yacovetta has been hired as the new firm's executive director of brokerage development. The company will hire a managing broker and 40 agents, with operations to begin within 60 to 90 days, Bates said.
Yacovetta will also oversee the eventual creation of satellite offices.
