BRIEF: AT&T looking to hire more than 500 throughout Sacramento, California [The Sacramento Bee]
(Sacramento Bee (CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) March 08--AT&T said today that it is looking to hire more than 500 new employees throughout California, including the Sacramento area.
The telecommunications company said it is seeking outside plant technicians and splicing technicians to support growing customer demand for the company's U-verse services, including digital TV, high-speed Internet and voice services.
In Sacramento, AT&T said it s aiming to fill about 54 positions, most of them splicers.
AT&T is seeking candidates in nearly a dozen California communities stretching from San Diego to Eureka.
The jobs are full-time positions for a term of up to 3 years. Some candidates will receive paid job training. Other benefits are available.
