An International Women's Day Moment of Reflection

TORONTO, Mar 8, 2013, 2013 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Canadian Women Speak Out About the Power of Education As the world marks this 102(nd) International Women's Day, Plan Canada shares some collective reflection from Canadian women about how having an education shaped who they are as people today and about the meaning and importance of an education in every girl's life.

Plan Canada asked Canadian women: If you were forced to drop out of school at age 14, what would YOU have missed out on Learn more at becauseiamagirl.ca About Plan and the 'Because I am a Girl' initiative Founded in 1937, Plan is one of the world's oldest and largest international development agencies, working in partnership with millions of people around the world to end global poverty.
