Event will collect, recycle electronics [Columbia Daily Tribune (MO)]

(Columbia Daily Tribune (MO) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Electronic items will be collected in a recycling event scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon March 30 outside The Home Depot, 3215 Clark Lane.

The event will accept the following items at no charge: CPUs, printers, computer mice and keyboards, laptops, wire, cables, hard drives, phones, pagers, washing machines, stoves, radios, satellite dishes, scanners, speakers, DVD players, VCRs, fax or answering machines, car batteries and stereos. Other items accepted for a fee will include monitors, portable or console televisions, copiers and microwaves. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners will not be taken.
