Seven, Ten fight Conroy reforms

Seven West Media (SWM) and Ten Network are understood to have called on Australian Communications Minister Stephen Conroy to rethink his proposed media reforms. A spokesperson for SWM said the network was concerned that changes to the 75% reach rule would overshadow more important concerns, such as the debate surrounding licence fees. The changes would allow Nine Entertainment Company to merge with Southern Cross Media Group.
