SailPoint Extends Capabilities of SaaS Offering
AUSTIN, Texas & LONDON --(Business Wire)--
SailPoint
today announced that SailPoint
AccessIQ™ now provides single sign-on (SSO) for internal Web
applications including company portals, custom Web applications,
collaboration tools like SharePoint, and enterprise applications like
SAP and Oracle (News - Alert) E-Business suite. Additionally, SailPoint announced the
immediate availability of the SailPoint AccessIQ mobile app for iOS and
Android devices, providing today's mobile workforce with secure and
greatly simplified access to cloud and Web applications from mobile
devices. With these new capabilities, AccessIQ is the industry's only
solution that can provide business users with a single SSO solution
spanning cloud and on-premises Web applications, as well as mobile
devices, while enforcing appropriate levels of security policy and
controls.
Organizations are under increasing pressure from their business users to
deliver a boundary-free SSO experience, regardless of where the
applications are hosted or if the employee is accessing them via a PC,
tablet, or smartphone. Yet at the same time, it is imperative that IT
puts the right controls in place for governing access to high-risk
applications. AccessIQ
allows IT to deliver that convenience-with-control by combining SSO,
risk-based strong authentication and integrated preventive, and
detective controls, such as approval workflow for access requests,
access certifications, and policy violation detection.
"Many organizations are struggling with limited SSO tools that only
address a subset of applications that employees use on a day-to-day
basis, and do not seamlessly integrae with provisioning and identity
governance solutions," said Jackie
Gilbert, GM and vice president of SailPoint's Cloud Business Unit.
"It's important to understand that today's workforce accesses dozens of
cloud and Web applications from their desktops, laptops, and mobile
devices. SailPoint addressed this changing dynamic with AccessIQ, our
first identity-as-a-service solution. With AccessIQ's new capabilities,
enterprises can give their business users a streamlined and personalized
SSO experience spanning cloud, Web, and mobile applications, while
enforcing appropriate levels of security policy and controls."
SailPoint AccessIQ provides convenient, easy-to-use services such as
cloud and Web SSO for employees, while empowering security managers to
align policies governing "who should have access" to "how that access is
actually being used." Through its integration with SailPoint
IdentityIQ™, AccessIQ provides the industry's only fully integrated
SaaS (News - Alert) access management, provisioning, and identity governance solution -
spanning cloud and on-premises web applications. AccessIQ delivers the
highest levels of security and access control by offering step-up
authentication based on a variety risk factors including user roles and
entitlements, policy violations, user risk score, application risk
score, and more.
Delivered as a SaaS solution, AccessIQ deploys quickly and allows
enterprises to immediately take advantage of convenient cloud
services coupled with improved visibility and oversight over their
usage. The AccessIQ mobile applications are available for download from
the Apple App Store and the Google (News - Alert) Play Store, allowing users to access
cloud and Web apps on the go from mobile devices like iPads and a
variety of Android devices. For more information, please visit: https://www.sailpoint.com/products/access-iq.
