BRIEF: Robeson Twp. man charged with having child pornography
Mar 11, 2013 (Reading Eagle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
State police today charged a 20-year-old Robeson Township man with having child pornography on his computer and cellphone.
Dalton J. Tyler of the first block of Rock Hollow Road remained free to await further court action following arraignment before District Judge David E. Glass on two counts of possessing child pornography.
Tyler turned himself in for arraignment after investigators told him that they were filing the charges, officials said.
Agents from the Philadelphia office of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security began the investigation in May after they received information from an online storage provider that child pornography was in their system.
Agents searched Tyler's computer and cellphone and found images of child pornography.
The information was turned over to Cpl. Paul M. Smith of the state police computer crime task force.
