KANAB, Utah --(Business Wire)--

On Monday, March 11, six of the 22 dogs who came to Best Friends Animal Society after being rescued from Michael Vick's Bad Newz Kennels in 2008 returned to Best Friends' Sanctuary to mark five years of freedom. Over the past five years, the "Vicktory" dogs were rehabilitated by Best Friends' expert staff through extensie care, training and TLC to help overcome their past experiences. This process included individualized care to address specific medical needs, food preference, re-learning comfort and companionship, interacting with other dogs, and learning basic manners.

The event was held at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the nation's largest companion animal sanctuary, located in Kanab, Utah.
