Cieri Media Announces Sony Creative Software as Sponsor for Parody 48 Hour Film Contest

The winning teams will each receive a copy of Sony Vegas Pro editing software. Teams registered on the Parody 48 Hour Film website are invited for a drink at the opening party in Midtown Manhattan on Friday May 3rd. Each team will receive a packet with the name of the movie that they have to parody along with the rules of the contest. They have to script, cast, shoot, edit, lay down a soundtrack and get the organizers the final version on DVD by Sunday of the same weekend at 7pm.

Filmmakers meeting all the requirements will have their films screened shortly after the contest. Attendees of the screenings will rate each film, and Audience Choice Awards will be given to the three top-rated films. These three winning films will be awarded prizes sponsored by Sony.
