Shenzhen Wave licenses Neonode Multisensing technology

Neonode Inc., a provider of optical touch technology, has announced that Shenzhen Wave, a consumer electronics manufacturer in China, has licensed its Multisensing technology and will be embedding Neonode's technology, into the new Android-based smartphones and tablets that are expected to ship in volume by the end of 2013.
The Shenzhen Wave smartphones and tablets will be incorporating Neonode's Smartphone One platform, which was launched on October 10, 2012. The Smartphone One platform is suited for next generation smartphones and tablets, the company said.

"We believe our Smartphone One platform to be the perfect choice for Shenzhen Wave's expanding range of mobile devices."
