Leadership Changes Position Oceus for Continued Growth
RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)--
Oceus Networks Inc., a market leader in delivering 4G LTE (News - Alert) broadband
networking solutions, today announced the promotion of Randy Fuerst to
president and the addition of Jeff Harman as senior vice president and
general manager of the company's Department of Defense (DOD) Solutions
Business Group. Both will work closely with other Oceus senior executive
leadership in the strategic transformation of the company as a leading
provider of mobility solutions to the DOD, Intelligence community and
other federal government clients.
Randy Fuerst will continue in his role as chief operating officer
overseeing core operational elements, including engineering, product and
solutions development, delivery operations, marketing and sales, and
business development. Jeff Harman will be responsible for driving growth
with direct oversight of programmatic execution, solutions and
competency development across both the DOD tactical and enterprise
environments.

Randy Fuerst is a seasoned senior-level executive with more than 30
years of industry experience in the delivery and management of
technology systems and services across the federal government. Since
joining Oceus in September 2011, Fuerst has worked diligently across the
company to expand opportunities and mentor high performance teams. His
leadership has been instrumental in driving mobility pilots across the
DOD and is now expanding into other agencies of the federal government.
Prior to joining Oceus, Fuerst held numerous executive positions,
including serving as chief operating officer for CACI International. He
holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University and is a
member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, ACT/IAC, AFCEA and
Tech America, and was recently selected to the Board of the Professional
Services Council.
Jeff Harman brings over 22 years of industry experience to Oceus and has
a strong background leading go-to-market strategies and solutions
development. Prior to joining Oceus, he served as senior vice president
and operating group manager for CACI International, directly managing
over $200M in annual revenue with clients in the Defense Information
Systems Agency (DISA), the United States Combatant Commands, the U.S.
Navy and the Department of Homeland Security. While at CACI, he
co-developed an IT services model based in ISO2000 and was the Core
Competency lead for Enterprise IT Services and Solutions. Harman has
also held HR leadership positions for Teaming Associates, BBN, GSI and
the U.S. Air Force. Harman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Information Systems.
