ERT America Introduces SkipTheDMV in Florida. Simple. Fast. Vehicle Registration Renewals.
GILBERT, Ariz. --(Business Wire)--
ERT America, Inc. introduces SkipTheDMV, a new service that gives
vehicle owners the ability to renew their vehicle tags at convenient
retail locations or online at www.SkipTheDMV.com.
SkipTheDMV
is a consumer-facing service that helps Florida residents do business
with the government. The service makes it easier and more
convenient for consumers to renew their tags through retail partners
using a secure web solution to renew Florida tags in real time. Consumers
receive a receipt via email plus a printed copy in person. It
contains a DMV-issued transaction ID and tracking ID that verifies the
enewed registration. The renewal decal is mailed by the
DMV direct to the vehicle owner. The retail-focused service
allows consumers to pay by cash, check or credit card.
"We chose Florida as our first state for two reasons: first,
there is a large population that prefers the convenience and security of
paying with cash or check and second, there appears to be a friendly
regulatory environment toward services that benefit consumers," said Ian
Gilyeat, President of ERT America. "With these two elements
in mind we created a web-friendly solution that can be deployed in any
business that has internet access through a standard web browser."
SkipTheDMV
is available now at selected locations in Tallahassee and the Tampa Bay
area with more locations coming soon.
