Delmont man charged again with threatening Pennsylvania State Police trooper

Mar 15, 2013 (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A Delmont man is in the Westmoreland County Jail after being charged this week with threatening a Pennsylvania State Police trooper two months after he was arrested for posting on Facebook that he wanted to kill the same trooper.

Andrew L. Fulton, 29, told police he made the threat because he wanted to "get back at" Trooper David Williams of the Kiski Valley barracks, who he blamed for his drug arrest from last July, state police wrote in a criminal complaint.

When questioned, Mr. Fulton told state police he called a woman from a pay phone at a Greensburg bowling alley and asked her to hurt or find someone who could harm Trooper Williams, according to the complaint.

The woman, Dana Baker, said she forwarded the voice mail message to Trooper Williams, who said he recognized the voice as Mr. Fulton's, according to the complaint.

The message included the following: "Do what you need to do"; "Try to get back at him"; "Is there any way that you can hurt him " and "Or do whatever you need to do, or find someone who will," according to the complaint.

On Jan. 19, Mr. Fulton was arrested on charges of terroristic threats and harassment for posting on his Facebook page that he wanted to kill Trooper Williams.

A friend of Mr. Fulton's alerted state police to the post, state police said.

For the latest threat, Mr. Fulton is charged with retaliation against a witness or victim, criminal solicitation, terroristic threats and harassment, according to court records.

He is in the Westmoreland County Jail unable to post $100,000 bail.
