Ferrari credit card roars into region with deals. Weekend at the wheel of a GT and day at the races with First Gulf [National, The (United Arab Emirates)]

In partnership with Visa, two categories of the new credit card are available to customers - Signature and Infinite - both offering a variety of different privileges and services. ¬ The Ferrari Signature credit card provides its cardholders with an opportunity to win through monthly, semi-annual and annual draws. These include using a GT car on a weekend of one´s choice, attending Ferrari Challenge Races in Europe or staying in Rome with a visit to the Ferrari factory and museum in Maranello, Italy. ¬ The card also offers deals from the Ferrari online store in addition to a 21 per cent tax waiver. Cardholders can also receive a complimentary membership to the Scuderia Ferrari Online community all year round. ¬ The Ferrari Infinite credit card provides exclusive offers on hotel bookings with hotelclub.com, access to airport lounges, complimentary multi-trip travel insurance, free upgrade to premium admission at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld, and buy-one-get-one-free offers at Vox Gold Cinema. ¬ Commenting on the launch, Andre Al Sayegh, the chief executive of the bank, said: »Ferrari was recently voted as the world´s most powerful brand by Brand Finance, and it is a globally renowned brand with passionate fans in both the Middle East and Africa.« ¬ ¿¿¿ ¬ ¬ Al Hilal Bank will again roll out its walk-in, drive-out financing scheme at the fifth Al Hilal Auto Festival, which runs until next Sunday at the Corniche beach car park. The financing promotion enables visitors to own a new car and take it home within 60 minutes. This year more than 280 cars will be on display. There will be a fashion car show and motorcycle and yacht displays. The festival will also include a kids´ village, drummers and heritage food. ¬ »The Al Hilal Auto Festival began as an event for offering some of the best automobile financing deals to the public but eventually grew into a fun, family-friendly annual event. For this year we are adopting a new format that builds further on the show´s successful evolution and reflects its growth into a socially relevant gathering,« said Mohammed Jamil Berro, the chief executive of Al Hilal Bank. ¬ The festival events will run from 4pm to midnight daily.¿¿¿Dubai Media One hotel is displaying dollar sand art in its lobbies until April 3. The project is the brainchild of Jim Wheat, who was spurred at a time of deep loss to produce his first collection, entitled The Money Collection. ¬ Wheat uses a variety of materials - from old and new money of various currencies, to sand, everyday items, resin and oils. It has a quirky feel that aims to encourage people to question what money means. ¬ The collection consists of 28 original works plus four installation pieces.
