beach festival committee anoints 40th king neptune [Virginian - Pilot]

James M. Arnhold was named the 40th King Neptune on Saturday, making him the ceremonial leader of the annual Neptune Festival.
A lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, Arnhold owns several real estate-related companies, including Home Associates of Virginia, Arnhold Marketing Services and Source Realty.
As King Neptune, Arnhold will oversee festival events throughout the year and "serve as an ambassador of goodwill" for the city, according to a news release. He was chosen by the Neptune Festival Committee from nominations submitted by the public.
The festival culminates in September at the Oceanfront and includes Neptune's International Sandsculpting Championship.
