ThinkAnalytics Appoints Michael Pohl to Board of Directors

ThinkAnalytics, a multiplatform TV search and recommendations engine, announced new Michael Pohl has joined the company as a Member of the Corporate Board of Directors and Strategic Director for Marketing and Business Development, Americas.
In a release, the Company noted that Nancy Pingitore has been named Vice President of Sales. Additional appointments have also been made in the North American based development and support teams.
"Our large-scale deployments have proven that delivering better TV recommendations has a profound impact on business results," said Eddie Young, Chairman, ThinkAnalytics. "Michael and Nancy have both had tremendous success in opening sales channels for new technologies in this industry. With their help we will continue to hasten the deployment of Intelligent Navigation and personalized recommendations that drive home the business objectives of our operator customers and provide value for their subscribers."
Pohl is currently Chairman of the Board for BlackArrow, as well as director of Ascent Capital Group Inc. He was previously Non-Executive Chairman of the Board for BigBand Networks and a member of the Canoe Ventures advisory board. Michael served as President of the Global Strategies Group at C-COR, Inc. and subsequently served as the Interim Vice President/General Manager of the On Demand Systems Division of ARRIS Group, Inc. Prior to C-COR, Michael was President and Chief Executive Officer of nCUBE He also held executive positions at SkyConnect and Douglas Communications.
Previously, Pingitore was Vice President of Distribution for the Tennis Channel where she helped expand the network's carriage from launch to distribution across top MSOs, telco and satellite providers. She was previously Co-Founder and Vice President of Incanta, an advanced media personalization platform for cable operators and broadband providers. She also served as Director of International Business Development at ARRIS, Inc.
