AGC Networks Acquires Business Of Transcend United Technologies [DealCurry (India)]

Transcend United is a global IT systems integration and managed services firm, simplifying communications infrastructures so companies for changing business needs. It is a solution provider and technology integrator focused on unified communications, data centre infrastructure and managed services.
The company caters clients in the retail, financial/insurance/legal (FIL), manufacturing, education/government (EDU/GOV), healthcare/life sciences markets as well as other key industries to deliver global technology solutions. The company has offices across East coast, Mid-west and central US.
AGC Networks Limited (AGC) was incorporated in the year 1986 and is an enterprise communication provider and solution integrator, delivering customized communication solutions for organizations. The solution portfolio covers Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange (EPABX) and Key Telephone Systems, Multimedia Contact Centre and CRM Solutions, Multi-Conferencing Solution for audio and video, Multi service Data Networking and Unified Messaging Solutions.
In May 2010, the Essar Group through its two companies – Essar Capital Finance Private Limited (ECF) and Essar Services Holdings Limited (ESHL) – purchased the entire 59.13% stake of Avaya Inc and an additional stake of 20%.
Currently, Aegis Limited, which is present in the BPO space, is the new parent company of AGC and operates in 13 countries and 55 delivery locations.
Recently in this space, Mahindra Satyam acquired majority stake in Complex IT, SAP consulting providers, in Brazil.
