SEOUL -- Malicious code from Chinese Internet Protocol (IP)
address caused network paralysis at Nonghyup Bank, Seoul's
communications watchdog said Thursday.
After analyzing Nonghyup's computer network system, the Korea
Communications Commission (KCC) found that Chinese IP address
accessed the management server for vaccine software distribution
at the lender, generating malicious code. (S.Korea-China-

KUALA LUMPUR -- Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (
RCEP) between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
and its major trading partners may bring ASEAN a bigger role in
global economy, Malaysian International Trade and Industry
Minister Mustapa Mohamed said Thursday. "It cannot be denied that
ASEAN today has a presence in the world economy," said Mustapa at
the forum on the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement (ACIA).

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia charged another eight Filipinos with
terrorism and waging war against the King over a deadly incursion
in Malaysia's Sabah state that left at least 72 people dead.
The suspects were the second batch to be charged at a high
court in Sabah with launching terrorist acts and waging war
against the King, which can be penalized up to 30 years in prison
and a death sentence respectively upon conviction, authorities

CANBERRA -- Former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said
Thursday he would not stand against incumbent Julia Gillard in a
vote for the leadership of the Labor Party.
Rudd, who was rolled by Gillard in 2010, said he was a man of
honor and would abide by earlier pledge not to run against her
again after a leadership challenge in February last year.
