Acclaimed Broadcast Journalist Ned Potter Joins RLM Finsbury as Senior Vice President
NEW YORK & LONDON --(Business Wire)--
RLM Finsbury announced today that award-winning ABC News correspondent
Ned Potter has joined the Firm as a Senior Vice President in the New
York office. Potter, who covered science, technology and the environment
for ABC News for more than two decades, will play a significant role in
RLM Finsbury's growing science and technology practice.

Potter served as a science correspondent since 1987 for ABC's "World
News," and also reported for "Nightline," "Good Morning America" and the
Discovery Channel's "Discovery News." He has covered stories ranging
from space exploration and medicine to new technology and the Internet.
He consistently ranked as one of the network's most prolific evening
news reporters. Beginning in 2006, Potter also served as an editor for
ABCNews.com, managing a team of reporters covering technology, politics,
medicine, business and popular culture while helping the network expand
its digital media footprint.
Before he joined ABC News, Potter was a correspondent at CBS News, where
his assignments included science, technology, labor and national
politics.
Among other honors, Potter has won the duPont-Columbia Award for
excellence in broadcast journalism and the Emmy Award, as well as the
Headliner, CINE Golden Eagle and Genesis awards. He shared in the
Peabody Award that ABC News earned for its coverage of the September 11,
2001 terror attacks, and in two Edward R. Murrow Awards won by "World
News." He has published articles on telecommunications, television,
space, medical research, and the impact of changing technology for
publications including New York Magazine and the Chicago
Tribune.
Potter received a bachelor's degree at Princeton University, where he
majored in the history of science and wrote his thesis on science
journalism.
