Insurance Law Podcast Examines Transportation Liability

A.M. Best Co. has released the latest installment of the Insurance Law Podcast, a series that examines timely insurance issues from an attorney's point of view.

The latest episode features attorney Daniel Raab from the Daniel W. Raab, P.A. law firm in Miami, Florida. Mr. Raab will review the significance of a transportation case involving the damage done to a crane while in transit by sea from Baltimore to Tripoli.

Discussion topics include how often the $500 limitation on liability per package is litigated, which transportation modes-land, sea or air-see the most litigation, where transportation litigation cases are most prevalent, and what preemptive steps an insurer can take.

Mr. Raab has been practicing law in Florida for over 20 years.
