(IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Internet service provider AccessKenya expects 8% revenue growth in 2013.Listed Internet service provider AccessKenya forecasts that its revenues will increase by 8% to about KES 2.05bn (USD 24.3mn) in 2013 on the back of further investment in fibre infrastructure, the Star reported. The company comments that there was a slowdown around the recent elections, but it expects business to improve later on. In 2012, AccessKenya reported an after-tax profit of KES 151.4mn (up 38.8%) on revenues of KES 1.9bn (up 9.3%). The number of corporate leased line grew by 15% to 5,400 last year. The company expects its EPS to go up by 30-40% this year, from KES 0.69 in 2012. The Internet service provider plans to invest KES 300mn in expanding its fibre network in 2013.
