BRIEF: Indochino opens pop-up tailor shop in Back Bay

Mar 22, 2013 (Boston Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Online custom menswear retailer Indochino said it will open a "Traveling Tailor Shop" at 234 Clarendon St. in Boston from today through Monday, April 15.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company said it decided to bring its traveling shop to Boston following success with it in Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C.

The company said staff will take measurements and provide customers with personal styling. Appointments are available on 30-minute intervals for men to meet with one of Indochino's custom tailors and stylists. Everyone who books an appointment will receive a free dress shirt and a gift set with any suit purchase.

Typically, Indochino customers shop online, selecting the exact design details they want for their custom shirt or suit. When customers are ready to place orders, they create a measurement profile through the company's online step-by-step process with videos, officials said.
