Teenager robbed of mobile phone by opportunist youths [Derby Evening Telegraph (England)]
(Derby Evening Telegraph (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AN 18-year-old had his mobile phone stolen in Sandiacre by two robbers.
The victim was walking in Netherfield Road, Sandiacre, carrying a tablet device when he passed two youths, who started to follow him.
One of them asked what he had and told him to hand over the device.
The victim ran off but then his Sony Ericsson mobile phone fell out of his pocket and was taken by one of the robbers. One of the youths was white, 5ft 8ins, slim and aged about 16, possibly with freckles on his forehead.
He wore a dark grey Nike hooded top, a plain black bandana around his face, dark jogging bottoms and black gloves.
The second was white, 5ft 10ins, slim and also aged about 16.
He was wearing a light grey zip-up hooded coat with bright marking on it, a grey bandana and dark tracksuit bottoms. The offence took place at 8.30pm on Thursday, March 14.
