BRIEF: Showgirls Dance Team brings home numerous awards from New York

The OHS Showgirls Dance Team went to New York City during spring break for the Champion National Dance Competition and brought home numerous awards. The hip-hop dance team won the High Point Award, which goes to the highest scoring routine of the competition.
The team was named Grand National Champions in the medium division, Overall Reserve Grand National Champions, Best in Category for contemporary and hip-hop, first place in hip-hop, first place in jazz and first place in contemporary. The Showgirls officers were named Grand National Champions, as well.
